Nicki Minaj/Diddy Rumors
Bad Boy Records CEO Diddy has clarified his relationship with Nicki Minaj and said he does not have a typical manager/artist business tie to the Young Money star.
According to Puff, he helps and assists Minaj but does not take on the role of full manager.
"I'm basically just as the industry changes, you gotta change with the industry just as a hustler," Diddy told Funkmaster Flex. "I have a lot of knowledge I feel I have to give to artists and a lot of ways I can help their brand go to the next level. It has grown to be not just about me, not just about Bad Boy but the future brands that are coming up and the future super stars. I feel I have an obligation to help them and I feel there's a way we can get some money together. As far as with [Rick] Ross, I feel we've done a great job. With the Nicki thing, that was even something me and her made sure we didn't define or kept a mystery. So I don't go around saying I'm her manager. We work together in a certain type of unofficial capacity. But I don't really know where they really got that from. We still work together but it's not about going around saying I'm her manager -- she really does a lot of things by herself. And whatever ways I can assist the situation, or whatever that title is, that's what I do. I play my position on the team..." (Hot 97)
Earlier this week, a fabricated statement from Minaj claimed she fired Diddy.
"By now, everyone should now [sic] that I am really strict when it comes to my representation. I had sympathy for Sean however I feel as if I haven't gotten the guidance the manager is supposed to give his client. Personally, I feel like I'm being managed by mother. Even if you play the smallest role on my team, I wish to see progress. I'd like to thank him for everything he has done for me; for taking me under his wing. I wish him the best with repping Rick [Ross]. But now that my album is about to drop, its time to get serious and stop playing games. If I could turn back time...I wouldn't have made the decision to let Troy go." (Statement)
However, Minaj later came forward and said the statement was false.
Earlier today, there was a statement posted on the web, purporting to be Nicki Minaj's announcement that she had hired Benny Medina as her new manager. Not only that but the statement took the time to bash her current management team (Diddy, James Cruz and co.), and even refer longingly to her short-lived management arrangement with Troy Carter (Lady Gaga's manager). Well, seeing as how Nicki hasn't even spoken about Diddy managing her for the past 6 months, it would seem odd for her to just go public with this manifesto, right? Right. That's because the "statement" is a fake. Members of her inside circle confirm that it's inaccurate, and Nicki herself just tweeted: "lmao. i've never met benny medina a day in my life. we good on this side." (Miss Info TV)
Last May, Diddy spoke highly of Minaj's greatness.
And now, Nicki Minaj is finalizing the paperwork that will allow the Last Train to Paris superstar to guide her career. The Young Money femcee has already been in the studio with Diddy, and he's been singing her praises. "Nicki Minaj, she's definitely one of the great ones," Diddy told MTV News while promoting "Get Him to the Greek," speaking publicly for the first time about his new signee. "She has a long way to go, but you know how we recognized LeBron [James] was a great one, Tiger [Woods] was a great one, and Kobe [Bryant] was a great one? Nicki is up there. Her story has just begun."

Kanye West 5 ALBUM COVERS + TRACKLIST!
Kanye West is going to be including five album covers in his new album, "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" that will drop on November 22, reports MTV. The first album cover Kanye wanted was deemed too racy. Family
oriented stores would refuse to sell it.
Thus the record label Def Jam convinced Kanye to change the cover. The NY Daily News reports that Kanye tweeted on Twitter "They don't want me chilling on the couch with my phoenix.!" He also joked "In response to the reaction of my album cover, I'm deeply worried if I haven't offended everybody."
Did George Condo Create Kanye West's 5 Album Covers?
No word yet if they new covers were created by same artist who created the first cover, George Condo. Will the new covers create new controversy? Kanye does seem fond of riling up the public and getting his name all over the new.
Condo has an intriguing artistic style. He uses lots of deep exotic colors and a surreal style that creates a vivid fantasy scenario.

Nicki Minaj Writing for Rihanna
R&B singer Rihanna recently opened up about collaborating with Young Money's Nicki Minaj and how blown away she is by the rapper's writing skills.
Referencing their "Raining Men" collaboration off of her upcoming Loud album, Rihanna explained what stood out to her about Minaj's writing style.
"You know, I worked with her before on [2009's] Rated R and she was just writing me some really good ballads, and I couldn't wait to work with her again and finally have her on my record," Rihanna told Capital FM. "She has a great buzz and she has a 'thing' to her. She is a star and that's why people love her. She's also really entertaining with her visual as well as her lyrics, and she has a great melody. I'm really amazed that she can write like that. [Nicki] not only raps but she can write songs too...It was really easy actually. We were going back and forth with the texts on how we were going to get to do it because we were in two different places and had two opposite schedules." (MTV)
